In addition to accepting documents from self-represented filers by email, or fax, or drop box, or mail/courier service, assistance at Clerk's Office Intake counters in Tallahassee and Pensacola will be provided during regular business hours effective Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time Monday through Friday on days when the Clerk's Office is open. Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) computer terminals are also available to the public on days when courthouse lobbies are open. PACER terminal users who require assistance must visit the Intake counter. Due to COVID-19 infection rates, in-person assistance with PACER terminals cannot be provided by Clerk's Office staff at this time. When visiting a courthouse, please take note of the following:
- Masks are still required to be worn when in public courthouse space per District Court Order.
- Counter service is reserved for customers who require in-person services including the filing of emergency matters, administrative questions, requests for certified hard copies of public court records, and payments.
- Drop boxes are available inside courthouse lobbies for routine filings. To ensure prompt processing, please do not place payments in the drop box. Bring all payments to the counter for immediate processing.
As previously noted and for your convenience, filings will still be accepted via email, or fax, or drop box, or by mail/courier service delivery to the Tallahassee courthouse. Please utilize only one submission method to prevent duplicate filings.
