The current four-year term of Kevin L. Butler, Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Alabama at Birmingham, expires on 10/16/2023. A review committee has been established by the Eleventh Circuit to evaluate Mr. Butler’s performance in consideration of his request to be reappointed to a new four-year term.
