Due to the government shutdown, the Clerk's Office Intake counters in the Tallahassee and Pensacola courthouses will be closed for in-person service on Monday, November 10, 2025. Drop boxes are available in courthouse lobbies for court filings. Please do not deposit payments into drop boxes; payments must be hand-delivered to the Tallahassee or Pensacola Clerk's Office on the next business day when the court is open or mailed to the Tallahassee Clerk's Office at the following address:

Information about the Emergency Filing Service (EFS) is available at https://www.flnb.uscourts.gov/contact-us#emergencyfilingservice. On Monday, November 10th, the EFS is available all day to self-represented parties to file the following category of documents via email:
• Filings that result in the issuance of a new case number (e.g., bankruptcy petitions, adversary proceeding complaints, and miscellaneous proceeding case initiating documents);
• Filings that satisfy a deadline that requires filing action; and
• Filings that continue a deadline that expires on the current day.
EFS users must call one of the following telephone numbers to obtain the EFS email address:

Clerk's Office staff will be available to answer telephones and process documents submitted through the EFS. Documents submitted through the EFS must be received before 4:00 p.m. Central Time in Pensacola and 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time in Tallahassee.
