The Bankruptcy Noticing Center (“BNC”) continues to experience a nationwide service disruption that prevents it from transmitting notices and orders to parties in the ordinary course. While the BNC outage does not prevent the Court's Case Management/Electronic Case Files (“CM/ECF”) system from displaying creditor and party names and addresses entered in a case, the BNC outage prevents access to creditor preferred mailing addresses maintained in the National Creditor Registration Service (NCRS) and is preventing notice to creditors by mail, electronically, or otherwise, through the BNC. Importantly, the service interruption does not affect Notices of Electronic Filing (“NEFs”) transmitted through the CM/ECF system, which continues to function normally. At this time, it is unknown how long the outage may last.
The purpose of this webpage is to provide links to resources pertaining to the BNC outage.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What has been impacted by the BNC service disruption? (updated Oct. 22, 2026)
The BNC, which BAE Systems operates on behalf of the Judiciary, has not been able to perform the court polling and certification drop-off processes that support the delivery of electronic and paper notices, and has not been able to return the certificates of notice for docketing to the courts. Notices picked up on Oct. 6 were mailed and certificates of notice docketed. Notices were picked up on Oct. 7 and were mailed on Oct. 9, but there are no certificates of notice. Notices were picked up on Oct. 8 but were not mailed. Once the system is back online and in production the BNC will send the certificates of notices picked up on Oct 7. and docket those certificates. The impact extends to these websites:
- bnc.uscourts.gov
- bankruptcynotices.uscourts.gov
- notices.uscourts.gov
- the National Creditor Registration Service website that supports CM/ECF access to address labels
How long will the disruption last?
BAE Systems is working to restore services. More information will be provided as this situation evolves.
Will the Court continue to send notices and orders for service to the BNC during the outage?
Docketing activities will continue as normal, and the service files destined for the BNC will remain available for "pick up" once the BNC resumes its operations.
