In re: ADOPTION OF INTERIM RULE 1007-I / Administrative Order 09-001

ORDER ADOPTING INTERIM RULE 1007-I AND UPDATING INTERIM RULES

Whereas, the Judicial Conference of the United States approved Interim RUle 1007-I for adoption to implement the National Guard and Reservists Debt Relief Act of 2008 which became effective December 19, 2008; and

The general effective date of the Act did not provide sufficient time to promulgate rules after appropriate public notice and an opportunity for comment.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the attached Interim Rule 1007-I is adopted and applies to cases and proceedings governed by the Act and commenced in the three year period beginning on the effective date of the Act, as set forth herein. Interim Rule 1007-I shall remain in effect until further order of this Court.
