In re: CONTINUING EMERGENCY MEASURES DUE TO ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER HURRICANE SALLY NO. 20-010 / SUPPLEMENTAL EMERGENCY ORDER REGARDING PENSACOLA DIVISION DEADLINES EXTENDED DUE TO HURRICANE SALLY1
Due to Hurricane Sally, the Pensacola Division’s Arnow courthouse has suffered significant damage making it currently unavailable for the Court or its Clerks’ office staff; it is unknown how long repairs may take. Additionally, court staff, attorneys, court security officers and parties are continuing to deal with water intrusion, damaged roads and infrastructure, damage to homes and other structures, and power and internet outages in and around Pensacola, Florida. For that reason, the Court finds it appropriate to further extend the period for filing requirements under Fed. R. Bankr. P. 9006(a)(3). IT IS ORDERED: 1. All deadlines previously extended by Administrative Order 20-009 for cases in the Pensacola Division are extended through Wednesday, September 30, 2020. 2. Pro se (self-represented) parties are authorized to continue filing pleadings and papers electronically or by such other means as the Court has authorized due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 3. Any party or attorney that is not resident in or whose office is not in the Pensacola Division that can demonstrate good cause may request the relief provided by this Order.
DONE and ORDERED on September 21, 2020. KAREN K. SPECIE Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge
