The Pensacola Clerk's Office will be closed July 16 through 17, and the Tallahassee Clerk's Office will be closed on July 17 (only) to facilitate staff training. Drop boxes are available inside courthouse lobbies to deposit non-emergency filings. Please do not deposit filing fees. Filing fees must be mailed to the Tallahassee Division (see mailing address) or delivered to the Intake counter when the counter reopens. CLICK HERE for drop box hours and instructions.
The Emergency Filing Service (EFS) is operational when Clerk's Offices are closed. The following categories of documents may be submitted for filing via the EFS:
- Filings that result in the issuance of a new case number (e.g., bankruptcy petitions, adversary proceeding complaints, and miscellaneous proceeding case initiating documents);
- Filings that satisfy a deadline that requires filing action; and
- Filings that continue a deadline that expires on the current day.
