New Chapter 13 Plan Form Required Effective 12/1/17

A proposed amendment to Fed. R. Bankr. P. 3015 requires the use of a national chapter 13 plan form unless a district adopts a local plan that meets the requirements of new proposed Fed. R. Bankr. P. 3015.1. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida has adopted a local plan form.

The new plan form which was developed by an ad hoc committee consisting of attorneys representing both debtors and creditors throughout the district, the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee for the Northern District of Florida, and members of the court, and after having considered comments submitted in response to the solicitation for public comment, has been approved by Chief Bankruptcy Judge Karen K. Specie.
