NOTICE REGARDING IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL GUARD AND RESERVISTS DEBT RELIEF
ACT OF 2008
On December 19, 2008, the National Guard and Reservists Debt Relief Act of 2008
becomes effective. The Act provides temporary exclusion from the bankruptcy means
test for members of the National guard and Reservists under certain circumstances.

NOTICE REGARDING PROPOSED ORDERS AND CHANGES IN CASE ADMINISTRATION - EFFECTIVE
12-1-08
Effective December 1, 2008, cases will be managed by the Clerk's Office on a district-wide
basis. This will result in case administrators in Tallahassee and Pensacola being
responsible for cases outside the current divisional lines. Additionally, proposed
orders will need to be submitted to a new email address. For details, please

All of the 2005 BAPCPA based Interim Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure were
officially implemented as FRBP on December 1, 2008 except for Interim Rule 5012
which will remain in effect until further notice. Details of the changes effective
